About ISE Language School Prize Money Event - Brighton 2018
It's back...

The second annual Brighton Prize money event, this year sponsored by ISE Language School - Brighton, looks set to be even bigger and better than last years event, which saw 64 players aged 11-72 years old battle it out over 6 days in five progressive draws.

Five title winners walked away with fabulous prizes on finals day, with Fomer GB No2 and Davis Cup player Josh Goodall scooping the first prize of £1800. Read more about last years event here -

With larger draw sizes, larger prize fund and more exciting events through the week, this is an opportunity for players of all ages and levels to get out and battle against players of their own level, before progressing to pit their wits against tougher opponents.

The ISE Language School Brighton Prize Money Event 2018

Fully Level-Based Event without regard for age or gender. Players of all levels are welcome to play for a purse of tbc. Players begin the tournament with matches against players at the same or similar level, based on their Universal Tennis Rating (UTR), and have the opportunity to progress draw by draw through to the money rounds.

Tournament providing opportunity for competitive Adult club players, Junior tournament players, College players, Professional players to compete for the prize purse and UTR credited matches.

This tournament consists of a number of separate draws and will have various entry points based on a competitors level. Every player is guaranteed at least two equal level UTR matches, the opportunity to play out and win their own divisional event, as well as the opportunity to progress through to the next draw, and walk away with the biggest prize in the tournament (see the Staggered Entry Point image in Photo Gallery).

Players must be available to play each scheduled day of the tournament. Matches to be played on all weather hard court/artificial Clay court.

The Main Draw will take place on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd August. Main Draw will be played on Hard courts (barring poor weather conditions)

Limited Hospitality (host families) offered to players through he week with priority given to overseas/travelling players and Main Draw players.

Social event/Draw Ceremony to take place on the eve of the Tableau event. Player UTRs as of Friday 20th July 2018 will be used when selecting players for the Tournament and/or Division/Draw, as well as for seeding purposes.

Players will receive Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) credit for all matches played.

Entry & Withdrawal deadlines are one and the same - any withdrawal received after the entry deadline will not be refunded.

Match, set and game scoring format: Best of 3 sets - 2 Tie-break sets - 3rd Set Championship Tie-break Decider

Total Purse - Open to all Competitors - £7500

Winner - £2500
Runner-Up - £1150
Semifinalists - £550
Quarterfinalists - £300
9th-12th - £150

In addition, top finishing female - £750 (in the event of a tie, a shootout will decide the winner)
