Consolation: Please note that singles consolation consists of a one-match back draw for first match losers (everyone guaranteed two singles matches). There is no consolation for doubles.
About ITA Summer Circuit powered by UTR
The ITA Summer Circuit was created to provide college players the opportunity to compete in organized events virtually year-round. Although the primary purpose of the circuit is to provide incoming freshman and collegiate players the chance to compete in the summer months, for NCAA compliance purposes, the events are categorized as “open”; therefore, anyone (including high level juniors and adults) is eligible to compete in these events as long as he/she is a current ITA member. The ITA Summer Circuit is currently made up of 52 events over six consecutive weekends, beginning the last weekend in June and continuing through the last weekend in July.
ITA Summer Playing Membership (Registration Button at top-right of page)
All participants must have a current 2017 ITA Summer Playing Membership ($30) to participate in a Summer Circuit event. Participants can only purchase an ITA membership through the ITA webpage (itatennis.com). After purchasing an ITA membership, participants will receive a confirmation email that provides them with their 2017 ITA Member ID # along with tournament registration PIN #’s in order to register for a Summer Circuit event.
Entry Requirements: All Summer Circuit events are open to all players on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Entry Fees: $70, includes both singles and doubles.
Refund Policy: A full refund of $70 will be issued directly back to the credit card used to pay for the entry for players that withdraw from a Summer Circuit event up to 10 days prior to the start of the event. If a player withdraws within 10 days of the start of the event, he/she forfeits their entry fee.
Player Check-In: Player check-in will be between 5-7pm on Friday, 11th of August 2017.
: As of 8/8/2017 8pm: Players Must email tournament director the 2 names of each Pair. You must email by 8pm on 8/9/2017. Confirmation of your doubles pairing will be available at sign in on 5pm Friday 11th at the Players Sign-In event.

Maximum Draw Size: (Men’s & Women’s Singles: 128, Men’s & Women’s Doubles: 64)
Each tournament director will have the ability to limit the number of registrants he/she will accept into the tournament by setting a maximum draw size capacity. Once a draw (men’s or women’s) is at capacity, the UTR events platform will no longer accept registrations.
Singles Waiting List: Potential registrants are encouraged to email the tournament director requesting to be placed on a waiting list. Alternates may be moved into the competitor field up until the time draws have been published. Once draws have been published, any withdrawals or no-shows should result in a walkover. No on-site alternates will be allowed.
Seeding: In an effort with UTR to promote level-based play and decrease the number of non-competitive matches in the circuit, 50% of the players in each draw will be seeded according to player UTRs while the remaining 50% are randomly placed within the draw.
Consolation: Both singles events will have a first round loser consolation. Consolation will consist of one match only. All doubles draws are single elimination with no consolation matches.
Scoring: Singles matches will play 2 out of 3 sets with a 10-point match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set using no-ad scoring. Doubles will play an 8-game pro-set using no-ad scoring with a 7-point tie break held at 7-all. Men’s draws will use the Division I collegiate no-let rule.
All-American Wildcards: Both winners of the Men's and Women's SINGLES draws will receive a wildcard into the Main Draw of the All-american event, Fall 2017. Players must be eligible players from a Division 1, ITA member Program. The singles Finalists from each draw will receive a wildcard into the Qualifying of the All-American event. Winners of DOUBLES draws will receive wildcards into the main draw of All-American and finalists will be given wildcard into the Qualifying of the All-American event. Doubles teams must be on the same team to receive the doubles wildcards.
Points Race: The ITA office will track points and post a “points race standings” each week on the ITA website. At the conclusion of the circuit, the top 5 men and the top 5 women will receive automatic entry into the ITA National Summer Championships as well as a $600 travel reimbursement to be used towards the expense of attending the ITA National Summer Championships at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
